We are committed to contributing to a safe and healthy work environment for all employees while protecting the environment by applicable laws and policies. We shall take adequate steps to prevent accidents and injuries to our personnel or others at our activities. We do this by identifying and analyzing risks & hazards and then minimizing them through appropriate safety precautions. NDE has designed an Integrated Management System (IMS) to support personnel and operations with policy, standards, and guidelines with its solid foundation in Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment.

Quality

Health & Safety

We will make a sustained effort to ensure our workplaces and facilities are safe for our personnel. We are committed to actively extending health and safety criteria to include psychological health and safety. We plan, design, and deliver complex projects in harsh and challenging environments. We are committed to a policy of achieving HSE excellence across all our operations. Through our Integrated Management System, we have established a framework for setting and reviewing HSE objectives. Our HSE philosophy is based on the international standards of ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety, ISO 14001 for environmental management, and global best practices and standards. This is supported by management commitment, training, fairness, and performance measurement. We ensure that all assets, operations, and employees have accurate insurance.

Environment

We will constantly look for ways to reduce the environmental impact of our operations and services. We encourage methods that minimize hostile forces on the environment. We will exercise caution with all substances and processes that can cause damage to the environment. We will promote sustainable development and cost efficiency by reducing the use of resources. Apart from ensuring equipment safety, we shall see to confirm that it is easy to use and maintain. Given a choice of equally safe products, we prioritize those made from renewable or recyclable materials, materials with long life expectancies, or production methods that minimize the use of material or energy.

• We will make conscious choices when purchasing energy and materials, prioritizing energy from renewable sources and increasing the use of sustainable materials.
• In preparing transportation and traveling, we strive to send equipment and materials in bulk.
• Waste generated shall be recycled when possible.
• We shall motivate personnel to conduct activities environmentally friendly and encourage those we do business with to do the same.
• We shall strive to use as few hazardous substances as possible. Substances shall be evaluated.

More hazardous material shall be substituted if there are less unsafe alternatives. The Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) shall always be at hand, and appropriate equipment should be used to ensure safe and correct use to protect human health and the environment.
